What is a chiropractic adjustment?
A chiropractic adjustment is a precise application of force, applied manually, to a stuck or problematic joint or region of your spine.
Adjustments aim to increase joint range of motion, improve flexibility, remove excessive pressure and tension, and decrease pain.
What happens when I go to the chiropractor?
On your first visit to the chiropractor, our aim is to establish what is causing your symptoms, to provide an accurate diagnosis, and work with you to correct the cause.
A thorough examination will be performed of your posture, spine mobility, nervous system and brain function, and if necessary, Spinal X-rays may be taken of your spine.
Your second visit will give you a comprehensive diagnosis, based on the assessment performed during your first visit. We aim to provide you with logical explanations and specific, individualised treatment recommendations.

What are chiropractors’ qualifications?
Australian chiropractors are five-year university trained, are government registered and regulated primary healthcare professionals.
To become a licensed chiropractor in Australia, an accredited five-year degree must be studied, which includes a Masters of Chiropractic.
