Frequently Asked Chiropractic Questions
What to expect, and more, from your Parramatta & Concord Chiropractor
What happens on your first visit?
Your first visit is all about whether we can help you. A thorough examination will be performed of your posture, spine mobility, nervous system, and if necessary, Spinal X-rays may be taken of your spine.
Your second visit will give you a comprehensive diagnosis, based on the assessment performed during your first visit. We aim to provide you with logical explanations and specific, individualised treatment recommendations.
Your first treatment is also provided on this day – something many chiropractors don’t do.

Can you get me out of pain and maintain my health and wellbeing?
That is a very common question asked by patients. There is no definitive answer. If the cause of your problem is musculoskeletal, then it may be a chiropractic case, then of course I may help you with that.
We can address your pain although it depends on the level of degeneration that you’re at, and whether it can be corrected or not. Many people look for their best local chiropractor, to help them get out of their pain situation. We aim to provide you with our best care and recommendations.

Do I need a referral to see Dr Jabbour for chiropractic care?
No, you do not need a referral to visit a chiropractor in Australia. That’s because chiropractors in Australia are primary contact, primary healthcare practitioners. You can walk into clinic and book an appointment at a time that suits you.
We do also accept referrals from The Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA) and allied health Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) plans. This gives eligible people up to five visits to an allied health provider per year. This would be a part of your Chronic Disease Management Plan.
